You take little tufts of colored wool, mash them into a mold (in my case a 1/3 cup measuring unit) add some soapy water and press it all together with your hands. I'm still getting the hang of it, but so far I like the results...pretty little multicolored flowers. Mind you, today is May 2nd. In other parts of the county this may not be that unusual. However, here, it's never suppose to rain after the end of February. March? Maybe. But not May! As a result of said precipitation, I was in a contemplative mood on the bus this morning. While looking out the window, I spotted a real estate sign on a modest looking house. The agent's name was Jack Ditty. As a result I've got, "here's a little ditty about Jack and Diane, just two American kids doing the best that they can..." in my head today. Is it ditty or is it song though? I don't know. Regardless, can't get it out.
